On October 30, 2025, HIAS will hold its 20th Brown Bag Seminar, Dr. D.S. Prasada Rao, FASSA (Specially Appointed Professor, HIAS) will present his research titled “Asia and the World Economy: Real Incomes, Price Levels, Growth, Inequality, and Productivity over the Last Fifty Years”

The HIAS Brown Bag Seminar is a new seminar series hosted by Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS). The seminar series aims to promote interaction between HIAS researchers, faculty members, and students university-wide. HIAS, with its 10 research centers, will continue to strive to function as a hub to facilitate active research collaboration throughout the the University.
