Welcoming Assistant Professor Savu Rovanto, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) held the 23rd HIAS Brown Bag Seminar on 8 January 2026. Her presentation, “Navigating authenticity and legitimacy in meaningful work: Repair professionals’ experiences in Finland”, was very well-received by all attendees.

The HIAS Brown Bag Seminar is a seminar series hosted by Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS). The seminar series aims to promote interaction between HIAS researchers, faculty members, and students university-wide. HIAS, with its 10 research centers, will continue to function as a hub facilitating active research collaboration throughout the the University.
