[Report] The 22nd HIAS Brown Bag Seminar: Specially Appointed Professor, Maria Lohan  (HIAS), “Can AI Identify Crucial Health-related Research Questions – and, if so, What AI Tool Might We Best Use?”

Welcoming Specially Appointed Professor Maria Lohan, Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS) held the 22nd HIAS Brown Bag Seminar on 4 December 2025. Her presentation, “Can AI Identify Crucial Health-related Research Questions – and, if so, What AI Tool Might We Best Use?”, was very well-received by all attendees.

The HIAS Brown Bag Seminar is a seminar series hosted by Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS). The seminar series aims to promote interaction between HIAS researchers, faculty members, and students university-wide. HIAS, with its 10 research centers, will continue to function as a hub facilitating active research collaboration throughout the the University.
